An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.
After the people you name to your Board of Directors, the most critical decisions you can make are which people you hire. A start-up needs a producer to assemble the right team just as critically as a movie does. For some reason, hiring decisions are often up to the same person --the CEO-- as strategic direction and executive decisions. But these are dissociable roles, just as they are in the entertainment business: Producer and Director are seldom the same person.
